Prayer: Father we come here in prayer thanking You for this new day and the ones with whom we share it with. We thank you for the many generous gifts you have already given each of us and for those you are prepared to bring to us. We pray for those on our enormous prayer list, those who have been killed and brought to harm, who have been ill, and who have just been suppressed, oppressed, and dragged down by the world at large, as you already know the names. We pray for peace in this world of war. We pray for understanding and for the need to share the love which Jesus taught. We pray that needs are met, questions are answered, solace is given, and sins forgiven. We pray our faith and understanding leads us to what the Truth would be in place of the darkness we so often see. We pray all of these prayers in the presence of our Father in heaven, the Savior Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, Amein and so it shall be.
